On the way back from my first meeting at my internship place of work, such a beautiful area of London! · Went to Vapiano's with lots of blogging lovelies pre-#ZOMGbloggersbash and had the best pesto pasta · Me after my London escapades, running on about four hours of restless sleep · Marie Claire Blog Awards snaps! I wish I'd taken more photos but it was far too early to function! · Pasta pieces and cheese for lunch, best thing when it's this cold · My January GlossyBox arrived; review to follow early next week · Things that are currently the bane of my life · Some snaps from around my bedroom at Uni - about as close to a 'bedroom tour' as you'll ever get! · My pretty new bag from Romwe · Establishing my position as a fully-fledged Hufflepuff, courtesy of Skye and her skillz at "I Am Handmade" · Inside my wardrobe at the moment, worryingly bare while my chairdrobe piles up next to me!

This week has been a complete blur to me, meeting hundreds of new bloggers on Monday seems like a million years ago! Had a lovely evening celebrating all things social media, lipstick and Zoe though (: I've actually spent most of my week feeling jetlagged after train dramas with Victoria on Monday night, and hopping straight back on another first thing on Tuesday morning. I even stayed up late on Friday night in a very awake, cold conditions induced shopping spree with the assistance of Bee - that girl is a star! True to self, I've stayed awake far later than 1am, and my late mornings have returned: I need to kick that habit by, er, tomorrow for Uni!

It seems as though Southampton is one of the few places that hasn't been hit by the snow. I'm not complaining though, my only footwear that is fit for snow is sitting happily at home, possibly in warmer conditions than an old student house, about a hundred miles away. Le sigh. Off to begin today's to-do list with brunch and a coffee! Stay warm all!

  28. Gah, you need to try it at Vapiano's - the best I've ever tried! I don't tend to order pesto in restaurants, but def will be from now til forever ;) Yus, Tesco's rip-off of Cath Kidston, the prettiest thing, it doesn't match my room but oh wellz! Eee, can't believe TOWIB is in a week, so nervous and excited! xx

  29. Haha really?! At least it was eventful and cheap ;)

  31. D'aw thank you! Mm I know the feeling, if it's going to be this cold, it might as well snow and make it worthwhile :P Starting to warm up a little here actually! xx

    ReplyDelete
  32. Awee thank you! Haha gosh, fingers crossed! Luton is quite close to where I live when I'm at home, and my parents have had to shut the restaurant today because of the snow, madness! Hope you're well Katie! xx

  33. Most ridic name to spell, I agree ;) Aah I hope it stays away, I don't have any snow suited footwear, and I'm also very clumsy, which is never a good mixture when there's anything icy and slippery around! xx

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thank you Danielle! I hadn't either, I was actually searching for a new sheer shirt or a skirt of some sort, but I always, always look at bags out of habit (: The awards were so swish haha, I felt completely out of place! xx

Oh no, hope you manage to sort out your sleeping pattern soon. :( It's horrible when you wake up really late.
My city hasn't been hit by snow either, not complaining too. It'll turn into ice and make everyday tasks a complete mission.
    Hope you're staying warm! xo

  53. Happy Weekend Michelle, sounds like a hectic week, I've been a bit the same, had a sneaky trip to London on Thursday night and got caught in the derailment problems on Friday morning. That's without the other 9 train journeys I do per week.

Loving the look of your new bag, will we get to see in more detail?
