('Lovelovelove' jumper, Illustrated People via Topshop;
Polka dot dress, Primark;
Super cosy tights, Primark;
Suedette slipper shoes, New Look;
Coat, Topshop;
Sakura brooch, Sakura Front for the Japan Earthquake Relief;
'Alexa' bag, Mulberry;
Ring, Dolly Bow Bow.)

Bought this polka dotted, fit-and-flare dress absolutely ages ago and randomly saw it hanging up in my wardrobe. It's one of those pieces that I hate to love and feels very little girl-esque, but is a nice way to tap in to the Meadham Kirchoff frenzy, especially since it cost me a mere two English pounds in a Primark sale! I just had to pair it with my jumper from Illustrated People - this time a Topshop sale number - and wrap a belt round it for ultimate candyfloss appeal. I'm currently after a longline blazer to wear in the spring, but can't seem to find the perfect one yet, any suggestions?

Tonight I'm going to battle on with my dissertation: all of my book research is now completed, it's just a case of writing things up now and finding the motivation to finish that dreaded content analysis. I'm up to date with my ever-important Gossip Girl, New Girl, Big Bang Theory and Glee viewing commitments, so I have no excuse, or so I keep telling myself...

My new blog header is nearly complete! The talented Philippa has illustrated part of it for me but I need to code it and decide how to 'finish' it off. So excited to reveal all, hopefully over the weekend if I have the chance. *coughcoughbirthdayonFriday*

  1. It looks adorable! I love the little bow on it. I remember trying that dress on, I swear all the clothing that I try on in Primark morphs into a different shape as soon as I put it on.. hmm!

  11. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets up to date with tv shows before starting work. :P Get the distractions out of the way first! Absolutely love that you have the Sakura brooch on, I'll be dragging my Uniqlo t-shirt out for the year anniversary, I can't believe it's nearly a year which also means it's nearly a year since I was in Japan - this makes me sad :( Lovely outfit, I do love the jumper over dress look, I almost went for it today as well but then got lazy and jeans ended up on my legs! Glad you're getting there with the dissertation, how long does yours have to be? xx
