Today I wore a random mix of clothes that I pulled out of my wardrobe, while in that typical Monday morning rush to make it of the door and to my lecture on time. I made it there with about a minute to spare while the lecturer was twenty minutes late, which is just typical! I absolutely adore this cardigan (worn here for the detail shots! I forgot to take any today!), something that my Mum picked up for me when she was in Hong Kong just before Christmas! The corduroy and lace shouldn't work, but it does - in my opinion - and is the perfect light cover-up, although I did wimp out and wore my coat today. Slowly integrating colour into my outfit with palest icy blue and a ton of black as ever. I love the long layers in this outfit, so casual and comfy and typical me!
Had a few lectures and seminars today about the 'wonderful' world of taxes (for our Fashion Freelancer module) which pretty much fried my brain. Went for a Yates lunch with some of the girls and then went to a seriously packed guest lecture about styling, lectured by Iain Webb, who was once the fashion director at UK Elle and Harper's Bazaar.
Currently coveting: Benefit Hervana, this Topshop slip dress and all manner of new nail varnishes. ♥

Sweet look! Ah wow, that style lecture sounds amazing - I bet he had some great tips of the trade! X

ReplyDeleteAh you look so pretty! And i am in LOVE with your bag, perfect shade and size for fitting everything in! X
ReplyDeleteI love the bag! Looks like you could store a decent amount of things in there. I'm always after one that's big enough for my sketch book. I'm sure we'll be able to go without a coat soon..it's getting slightly warmer! Though I too am yet still a big wimp to the cold.

ReplyDeleteAh the wonderful world of taxes. I did the Prince's Trust course and all we spoke about and sorted for a week was Inland Revenue and HM stuff. All my lectures at uni were about the history of art, which mainly consisted of chairs...so amazingly snore worthy. xxx
