Trying out something new for this week's installment of Ways to Wear while I still have some time on my hands. Button-up tops are prim and proper, yet have been reworked on the High Street in sheer form, utility form and with all sorts of collars. Thought I'd follow on from yesterday's outfit with this week's chosen item, I'm fast running out of garment ideas, so keep your old wardrobe favourites coming!

    Look two is lovely!
    And the shoes in look one are just perfect.
    I nearly bought some for myself, but they weren't comfortable enough for college.

  11. I love both of these looks, and wear button up shirts all of the time underneath jumpers and hoodies, to make a simple look look a little bit smarter but, look two has to be my favourite, its got a vindage vibe to it. I love the ear rings, and ASOS its about how you style the pieces from there and make it your own :}

  17. I really like the first look! Unfortunately I have trouble finding button-down shirts that fit me properly but I do think layering with a jumper might help hide any dodgy-fitting shirts! May have to give this look a go :) xx

  18. Thanks Becky! I think it's pretty much the same with most high street stores, trying to style a piece to make it your own as opposed to walking down the street and seeing twenty of the same outfits (:

  22. Aw thanks Laura! It'll probably be a rarity because my Wednesdays are being given up to my dissertation, but I thought I'd make the effort while I was at home ;) And yes, you should! x

  23. Thanks Dani! Yes, layering definitely helps! Or popping a silk scarf on (just hung around your neck, no fancy tying) is good as well! xx

  26. I'm loving button up shirts right now, especially basic ones like that blue one. They're really hard to find in the women's section, though!
