daisybutter - UK Style blog: phone photos, xperia ray, harry potter, mag design

Just a quick post to share my day with you in phone photos! Been holed up in my room working away at my final Uni projects for this semester, and on my dissertation. I know, I know, change the record Mish. I'd actually planned to outfit post today, but I'm just in my DIY Deathly Hallows T-shirt (can't believe I haven't got my DVD yet!) and a pair of faithful Miss Selfridge jeans. The bottom right photo is of my magazine layout for Uni. It's a work in progress, but I'm pleased with how it's all coming together so far! Guess those midnight work sessions were all worth it!

Tomorrow is the South Bloggers' Meet in Southampton! We've had a few people drop out, but it should still be a lovely day regardless. Sorry in advance if all I talk about is Uni work, six days and counting until diss proposals are due, and I am absolutely feeling the strain! It'll be nice to get out for a day, add to my Christmas shopping and have a sweet meal in Bella Italia.

PS. I nabbed myself a cheap beyond cheap Disney Princess advent calendar in Asda last night! Feelin' very much like the cat who got the cream at the moment. All about the savvy student's Christmas experience! Which advent calendar did you opt for? Anyone invested in a swish Advent candle or the Lancome beauty calendar?!

  1. Your magazine layout is looking gorgeous!
I wish I could've gotten my hands on the Lancome calendar but it's just a Cadburys one for me this year! x

  2. Thank you! I'm targeting my forecasted fashion trend at Grazia magazine, so hopefully it's beginning to look slightly Grazia-esque (: I wish I could've too, such a luxury! Alas, Disney will have to do ;) xx

Have a fun day tomorrow, I remember what it's like this time of year at uni, bit of a mission to get everything done in time for deadlines before Christmas, just look forward to relaxing when it's all handed in! I have a dairy milk advent calendar, I don't think I'll ever feel to old to have one! :) x

  26. Disney Princess? No! I'm so jealous. My crummy Ben 10 one is nothing in comparison. I have no idea why I chose Ben10. The only other option in Morrisons was Barbie...

    xx

  27. I'm excited for it, quite nervous too, I'm a bit weird when meeting people for the first time! x

  28. Hahaha ;) Love a bit of Jasmin/e! Gah, I've missed loads, especially when I see other people's portfolios. Oh well, Tamsyn said mine was 'coming along really well', which is the most vague feedback evs. Cannot wait for Xmas. xx

  29. Hahaha oh lord! I did consider Ben 10, the calendar was thicker = bigger chocolates? xx
