Ever since I spied Charlene's beautiful Aztec print nails on her Dainty Nails shop, I've been dying to try a set of her handpainted nails. If you know me at all, you'll know I a) enjoy nail art, b) am rubbish at it at best, and c) have never tried falsies before. I jumped at the chance to review some of Charlene's Christmas nails, from her 12 Days of Christmas Nails range.
(Snowflake nails, c/o Dainty Nails.)
First things first, they come beautifully packaged with a set of good quality nail glue. I might be a bit of a n00b, but erm, what kind of crazy super strength glue is this stuff?! I managed to glue my hands together, then my fingers together, then my hand to a Fashion Analytics essay before finally managing to apply my nails. Hi klutz. The Snowflakes nails are honestly beautiful: navy blue with silver glitter detailing makes it perfect for the festive season! Each set of Dainty Nails come with a set of instructions, and as stated, the filing down of the nails is very simple - mine are tiny!
I'll definitely be popping these on again at Christmas, they're a little difficult to manoevre when you're packing (!!!) and sorting life out ready for home on Thursday. If you're after a set for Christmas, I'd recommend getting an order in very sharpish! I love the look of the Fairisle nails (of course) and the adorable Snowman Blizzard nails, as well as the Monochromatic Aztec set from the regular collection. I think the Fairisle nails would be a great little investment, not only for the rest of Christmas, but well into January! Charlene also offers a custom design service for just £7, where you can choose your own colours and have an existing design customised, which is an absolutely amazing concept. Which nails are you after this Winter?
