holly jolly christmas24.12.11
It's Christmas Eve! I accidentally pulled a disappearing-blogger-act again, and I've been seriously lagging on the Tweeting front too: who would've thunk it? Mish has a semi-social life. All jokes aside though, I'm never never leaving my Christmas shopping this late again, I've spent three days, out of the six so far this week, in London and I'm absolutely shattered. Feelin' very festive as I pretend to get some dissertation work done, burn my Christmas Cookie Yankee candle and sift through lovely packages in the post.
01. Last week I won Elodie's giveaway, and a bronze Steve Madden PDA case popped through the letterbox this week. I'm in love with it already, and I'm currently using it to house my phone, which is an Xpera Ray for all those asking. Life without my Rabbito case has been hard but my phonecase woes are now over!
02. My December GlossyBox arrived! Literally in love with nearly everything in my box, especially the Rituals Foaming Shower Gel and my Deborah Lippmann 'Razzle Dazzle' nail varnish. I'm quite impressed by how much the GlossyBox experience and service has improved over the past few months, and would highly recommend you to sign up for a box of monthly beauty samples. I'll be writing a review or two of my favourite products over on FTG soon, once I've used the products for a while longer.
03. Went to Central London on Tuesday to Christmas shop, and took some photos of my sister in Starbucks and the decorations in Covent Garden. Not sure what possessed my brother and I to take our sister for an escapade in London, but it was fun all the same, spontaneous dancing in Trafalgar Square included. Yeah, we did that.
04. ... And a Daisybutter catch-up photo post wouldn't be the same without some miscellaneous photos of food, clothes and other happenings in my life, right? I downloaded Camera FX for Android on my phone, and can't stop adding effects to all of my photographs - apologies in advance if you're bored to tears of Instagram type stuff, my camera is too heavy for life right now! Sneak preview of my lazy Christmas Eve outfit too, that outfit post will rear its' relaxed head next week!
Anyway, I'd better get back to excessive eating and my dissertation now. I hope all you lovely readers have the best Christmas Day with your families, friends and loved ones, I'll see you on the other side of a turkey coma! ♥
