So 6,500 words of essays, a visual research portfolio, dissertation proposal, magazine mock-up and free-standing University blog later, I'm back with a post for you! By the way, I hereby give you all permission to slap my wrist - and my wrist only - for failing to post the second part of my Ways to Wear Sequins post this weekend. On the plus side, I'm a mere four and a bit days away from seeing my Mama and being whisked away back home for family festivities, Christmas preparation and meeting my beautiful new baby cousin! Yup, it's been a busy week and my new cousin, Danny, made his first appearance in the world on Wednesday!
It's been a very foodie few days in the house, mealtimes seem to be the highlight of our days recently, and I've barely left my room since Tuesday! Hoping to get back in the swing of outfit posts next week when I'm reunited with my sister, but until then, I'm enjoying preparing some other posts and planning out some mini projects. Stay tuned! (Don't get your hopes up too much, I'm just introducing some video content to the Ways to Wear feature haha!)
I surprised myself with wearing a hat to Uni the other day: I've never been one to sport headgear of any sort, but I thought I'd give it a go because I'd just curled my hair and true to Sod's Law and typical British weather, it decided to bucket it down as I stepped outside. I think I might just invest in that Topshop pom-pom hat now that I've given hats a second chance! Finally, how perfect did the Bublé look on the, otherwise lacklustre, X Factor final last night?! I've had his latest Christmas album on repeat all week, and am in love with his duet with my babe Shania Twain.- the south bloggers meet girls (L-R from the photo):
