Over the weekend, I realised it'd been absolutely ages since I'd posted an outfit on here. Truth be told, I haven't been wearing anything of note, and when I have, bad weather and shoddy lighting has stopped me from taking photos 'good enough' to share on Daisybutter! Quality over quantity and all that. Having said that, I bring you a sneaky details outfit post today.

daisybutter - UK Style Blog: slipper shoes, ysl, new look

(Mustard yellow shirt dress, A boutique in Hong Kong;
Pink skirt, Topshop;
Faux leather belt, Haberdashery;
Super cosy tights, Topshop;
Felix Felicis large Potions necklace, Sawyer and Scout;
Bracelet, Dolly Bow Bow.)

Wore this to run (not literally, that's just not something I 'do') around town sorting out boring things such as buying printer ink, emergency shoe shopping and getting Christmas coffee. There's nothing more inconvenient than wearing heeled boots when you're an accident-prone klutz in a rush! I'm currently chilling in my room with some Michael Buble and proof-reading though, so nice to be back in my comfort zone. I have no idea why I'm wearing so much colour today either, but it makes a nice change from the neutrals and blacks I always opt for. Bonus photograph of my new suedette, slipper style shoes from New Look as well, all of my shoes have fallen to pieces, so it was a completely necessary purchase, I promise.

I realise I'm also a little absent on the ol' Twitter recently as well. I've been attempting to finish up assignments like a crazy lady! My magazine design that I shared a snippet of at the weekend is finally finished, as long as my tutor doesn't decide to do a 180° and tell me she hates it. I'm actually quite pleased with it, and spent my Monday evening looking for a suitable printer for the final piece.

Lastly, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Ella at Ella Masters/Velvet Feather and her amazing illustration talents, seriously, go and have a look at her artwork and designs, she saved my life in my Fashion Forecasting module this week and I can't thank her enough!

    Lovely color combination. Mustard is one of my favorite colors. Black is nice, but it's nice to branch out from the usual colors :)
    I want the new Michael Buble CD! I have no good Christmas CD's, but this one is one that I must have.
