Hello loves! Back on Uni turf again after a weekend of solitude and excessive Tweeting, and I'm here to stay until the Christmas break, already missing my Dad and, moreover, the way he got up early every day to prepare and cook my lunch and dinner before setting off for a 14-hour day at work. Lovelovelove. Anyway, between streneous sessions of X Factor viewing, failing miserably in an attempt to use our DVD player at home (I was so sure "Alohamora!" or maybe "Reparo!" would work...) and getting pretty far in my dissertation proposal, I wore some sweet new additions to my wardrobe.

(Tunic and camisole, Ever Ours;
Shorts, A boutique from Hong Kong;
Tights, H&M;
Loafers, Primark;
"Fleur de Lis" necklace, c/o Sunken Rose;
Jacket, Warehouse;
Photos, c/o Toni at Fashion Your Seatbelts.)

Absolutely love this tunic: hands down, the best £12 I've accidentally spent this Autumn. It reminds me of the style of clothing I buy and wear in Hong Kong, and feels so much more "me" in comparison to the other clothes in my wardrobe. I wore this on Saturday to run some errands in town, and felt so cutesy and little-girl in it, the floaty tunic fit is too good for words. The studs won't be to everyone's tastes, especially paired with lace, my Mum was a bit iffy about it to begin with, but now she loves it just like me! Paired brogues with it this time, just to bring some English charm back to the outfit, but squeee: love!

In other non-fashion news, I passed my driving test yesterday afternoon! It still hasn't sunk in yet, and I feel so sorry for my examiner, I squealed in the car like what I can only imagine sounded like an excitable rodent. Oops. It's absolutely made my week, and thank you so much to everyone who Tweeted me too, over 50 of you! Your kind words made my day that bit more special.

Time for some quick bloglovin' before I get going with the rest of my enthralling to-do list! Was photographed for a little venture on a coursemate's blog this morning, Toni is starting a little Closet Confidential series which sounds really interesting, and she has a fashion blog if any of you fancy a new read! I also guest-posted for the lovely Abby yesterday: Abby is one of the girls I count as a real friend through this blogging malarkey, so it was lovely to do something on her blog, in the form of a £100 shopping challenge, which I failed at... Well I'd better go and write some content for my Uni blog then - it's a hard life!

  29. Is it bad that the first thing I thought of when I saw the tunic was Professor Dumbledore? It's only cause of the purple and gold, I swear! It reminds me of his hats!

    Gosh that's a beautiful tunic though, I love the lacework at the top and how swish and flicky the skirt is (why yes, I did make a rather Potter-y pun). GAH. *drowns in the cute*

    Also, I love that you Reparo broken things. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that.
