Survived (or just about!) the wind and rain apocalypse in Southampton today to bring you this blog post! I'm so glad to be home and cosied up with my dressing gown and a heater, and most importantly, no gale-force wind. The waning Winter 'daylight' does nothing for blog productivity either, does it? I snapped a few photos before Uni for a bit of a outfit and interior update: these were taken at about 11am, but you'd never guess it, would you...

(Playsuit, c/o Motel Rocks;

Navajo print vest, Love Lola Vintage via Jenny's blogshop;
Blue wooden heart necklace, c/o Gogo Philip;
Fleur de Lis necklace, c/o Sunken Rose.)

I chose this playsuit from Motel's Winter/Christmas collection at their Bloggers' Evening on the 10th November. There were so many goodies to choose from, but I opted for this playsuit because I've always loved the idea of long sleeves on a playsuit, and I'm over the moon that I chose this piece. The contrasting lengths feel so sophisticated, and the bubble hem shorts are just like the shorts I saw everyone wearing in Hong Kong a few summers ago. I can't wait until my assignments are finished, and deadlines have passed so that I can wear this with suede platform heels, a velvet bandeau top and soft curled hair!

Also been sprucing up my bedroom at long last. Oh well, better late than never! I made my own paper bunting out of magazine pages and some flags that I designed myself. Spot the 'Keep Calm and Produce A Patronus Charm' one! Paper bunting is so easy to make, and perfect for a really personal decoration in your room.

I'll be back tomorrow with a Ways to Wear post! Might even get round to another nail art tutorial soon; I've been sporting a neutral, Christmas-inspired manicure for the past week or so!

  9. The weather was so horrible today, my hair was ruined the moment I stepped out the car and I got soaked changing buildings between lectures! Horrible. The nail tutorial sounds awesome, I've been testing some christmas designs today :P
