The Coca Cola Christmas advert aired over the weekend (bit early, even in my I-listen-to-Christmas-songs-in-June books!), and whether you love or hate it, we're on the home run to my favourite holiday of the year now. I've been fretting about the dreaded Christmas present shopping task for weeks now: my best friend has already finished hers, much to my disbelief, but if you're stuck for something to buy, Skye's little shop, I Am Handmade, is full of creative, unique pieces.

When I moved into my current Uni house in October, the lovely Skye sent me a housewarming gift of a Hogwarts Hufflepuff crest. I know I'm not alone in Harry Potter blog obsessives, but how perfect are these? They'd make a gorgeous little gift, and Skye packages them beautifully, in rustic brown paper and ribbon.

Have any of you finished your Christmas shopping? Or are you also yet to begin the task? Someone please reassure me that I can leave it "until tomorrow" - the ultimate procrastinator's phrase.

  1. These are so cute! A talented lady, they really would make lovely presents. I admit to being crazily organised and having already bought all my Christmas presents..and wrapped them. But I love buying gifts for people! Seeing the CocaCola advert always makes me feel like a little girl again. You'll get them all bought in time, don't worry :)

  7. Oh god, she's finished ALREADY?! Rest assured hun I'm yet to even think about them! Although I think part of that is to do with the fact that my sis, who's b'day is on the 22nd december, forbids any talk of christmas before her big day! STRESS. x

  9. I haven't done any Christmas shopping, I'll probably do that in December but I'm always too poor to buy anything for anyone. Sometimes I buy things for people, maybe get a tie for my bro and dad, macarons for my mom, and knit something for my grandma!

I've just started, all online though! I'm hoping I can do the majority of it from the comfort of my sofa!

  11. I can't wait for christmas! I've not got anything for anyone, though I have friends that are practically done with theirs already. Crazy! Most of my friends are HP nuts like me, so these are the perfect little presents to give! Thank you for the idea :) X

  14. I love her stuff, it's so cute.

I haven't done anyone's present yet although have been meaning to start thinking about it. I just want to get everyone something a bit different which results in no decisions being made, a mad rush halfway through december and no-one getting anything that different.

Hopefully I will have more luck this year!

You are not alone, I'm not a complete last minute wonder, but I don't usually get mine done until December kicks in. I'm an online shopper for pretty much all my gifts, I'll be honest, so after my November payday, I usually order pretty much all my Christmas presents so they're here in early december, then get them wrapped and done shortly after as lots of ours have to be delivered mid-december to relics in other parts of the country.

I really could not cope with actually having to go out to do it all though. Ever.
