Currently cosy and happy in my bedroom after a failsome day of going out for six hours without a coat. Yes. In November. One day, I'll get things right and won't complain on and off, every five minutes, and give the girls a break from my complacent voice!

(Grey marl jumper, H&M;
Blouse, New Look;
Skirt, Topshop;
Tights, H&M;
Loafers, Primark;
Bag, Topshop;
Brooch, DIY;
Nails, Dalmatian Nail Art.)

I bought this jumper in H&M at the ELLE x H&M networking event with Sabrina. It is hands down, my favourite jumper of the moment: the perfect grey marl, seriously soft and cosy, with the sweetest brown faux suede elbow pads. (One of these days, I'll remember to photograph that detail!) I added my ever faithful bow brooch near the neckline, just for extra detail, because there's something about the mid-neckline of this jumper that makes it hard to pair a necklace with. As I said on my Facebook page earlier, this entire outfit screams schoolgirl to me, and added with pink and Dalmatian nails, I feel like a five-year-old again! I'd really loved to have worn a rich, emerald green or cobalt blue American Apparel type skirt with this, but just settled for my pink Topshop number.

Going bowling tonight with the girls' for one of their birthdays which should be lots of laughs! I'm really excited to spend the evening away from work, which seems to have inadvertantly taken over my life at the moment. Only five weeks of stress to go though!

Currently blog obsessions: Simply Breakfast (as always) & Monica Barley Corn.

    I keep going out without my coat, just in my work uniform which is a million times too big so all the air gets in, it's freezing! x

  19. I love how you've put this jumper over the shirt, it looks so trendy but effortless at the same time. I'm pretty sure I have the same jumper but in pink (or if not very similar!) and I love it so much, it's so cosy and a gorgeous material. As I keep saying to everyone atm I just can't get enough of H&M!! Love the colour of that skirt too :)

I wanted it in black but they didn't have my size, but I love my pink one now anyway :) <3 Holz oxo

    Loving the look of that jumper, it does look super cosy. I brought a Primark stripey grey chunky jumper a few weeks ago, and I have to try not to wear it *too* often, otherwise it won't be pretty and cosy anymore. Ideally, I'd just live in it for the next 5 months...

    Oh and Michelle, please keep warm ♥
