a (belated) few weeks in photos & a sunday catch up2.10.11
Surprise! It's me! (If you don't remember who this is, I'm that blogger who fails at technology, and is currently blogging with a thick Luella book balanced on her broken charger.) It feels so good to write on here again! Before I kick off with a catch-up and some Sunday photos, I just want to apologise for disappearing; my laptop charger is broken and I've been spending my first days back in Southampton hiding from the weird Autumn sun and playing with the kitten. I've also been reading, exploring my friends' new University abodes, organising dissertation notes and research, buying One Direction tour tickets, and chillin' with huge tubs of ice-cream.
Things are finally settling down for me now, and I'm so happy to be moved into our house. Seeing the girls all the time for topical conversations about Sheldon Cooper, pole dancing and popcorn flavour preferences is definitely my kind of thing! I've also received my University timetable - which looks so empty - and swiftly pencilled in a vague blogging schedule, so with a bit of luck, things will be settled back at Daisybutter in no time. I do, however, need to assign myself a new outfit photographer! For now though, I'm off to crack open the Carte Dor and prep myself for another attempt to install a lampshade. Woeful. xo
A photo from about two weeks ago, I've been ridiculously slack with my photo diaries, haven't I? · Food, glorious food: cooked this Thai red curry and coconut chicken dish the other night · Taking photos of surfaces and textures with my little sister · I snapped an outfit post before I moved · Archie hanging out in my room · The best post I have ever received (owl post, to be precise) from my beautiful Gem · Mama and I, casually matching outfits by accident on Thursday! · I'll be writing a review very shortly of this book: it surprised me so much and is possibly one of my new favourites · Pad Thai from the food cart in town at home - best! · The gorgeous knit my Mama bought me as a traditional new-year-at-Uni gift, I love her to bits! · My business cards arrived last week, and I'm so pleased with them · Zoya 'Marina' polish is my new favourite, the perfect slate blue-gray colour with a slight shimmer and pretty good application.
