Thank you timetable fairy, for my four-day weekend. I think I love you more than I love Harry Potter, Sims 3 and Taylor Swift. Combined. Spent my day reclining in bed, food shopping and making udon noodles with miso soup for lunch.

(Jumper, Warehouse;
Sheer shirt, New Look;
Playsuit, H&M;
Ring, Miss Selfridge;
Rabbito phone case, eBay.)

It has been surprisingly difficult to fall back in the swing of blogging. with huge blocks of lectures and seminars that begin in the middle of the day, and having your own face unexpectedly projected onto the screen at Uni. Yep, that happened! What a surreal feeling! I wore this to the library and then for cocktails and wine with Rosie, Kim and Laura on Wednesday: lovely and cosy for the windiest day ever, and doubly suitable and understated for the library hour. My Mama bought me the jumper last week, like I mentioned in my Week in Photos, and I'm in love with it. Perfect fit (although I did size down), the pockets are so handy, and camel/black palettes look so classic!

I saw "Crazy, Stupid Love" with some friends in the evening too, which I really enjoyed! Tried to scour my dashboard for reviews to no avail, but I quite liked the film, which I'd describe as a rom-com with some serious elements in it, definitely a film I'd consider buying on DVD. How beautiful is Ryan Gosling, please?! We also went to Prezzo for dinner, but I couldn't take photos having left my camera out of my bag for the cinema: sad face. Penne con Salmone is such a nice dish!

Currently sitting and trawling through a pile of books for dissertation research, and trying not to feel too guilty about the amount of money I've probably spent this week. I have a lovely four-day weekend with which to watch X Factor, eat free pizza, gossip with the girls and research blogs in. Third year: so far, so good.

  5. Such a cute outfit, I love the colour of the jumper next to the print of the playsuit. I also think every time I see that phone case appear on your blog I'm going to get tempted again!
    I didn't think Crazy, Stupid, Love was that great, some of it was plain weird. To be fair I had seen Drive a couple of hours earlier, and that is now fighting in my mind with 127 Hours for best film of the year, so it was never really going to win me over! Sorry for rambling!! x

  6. Cute outfit! That jumper is gorgeous! And your little phone case, awwwww! I'm dying to see Crazy, Stupid, Love. I don't usually like paying to see rom-coms because they're not my kind of thing but the fact that Ryan Gosling is in it has swung it for me! You've probably seen me go on about this constantly, but have you watched Drive yet? Ryan Gosling is just perfect in it and it's such an amazing film. I'm going to see it for the 3rd time this weekend! #obsessed xx

  10. I think I'd have died and turned suitably red if my face was projected in a lecture!
    I saw Crazy Stupid Love a couple of weeks ago as a free preview. it. is. brilliant. The love I now have for Ryan Gosling is ridiculous! His other film, Drive I think its called, looks really good too xx

  11. Kirsty: Thank you! I loved the pockets too (: Eeeep, I'm sure I saw some for BB Pearl, I used to have one haha. Hope you manage to find one, usually the bigger eBay sellers have some in their shops that don't come up in the search? x

    Glamour Rouge: Thank you (:

    Penny: I didn't know much about it before, but I really liked it, it's quite different from the typical rom-com, which I tend to get annoyed by in cinemas! x

    Sarah: That was the swaying factor for me too, and I love Emma Stone, she's so funny and ridic pretty! I liked the film (:

    Elise: Thanks sweet! Whacked a whole lot of textures together for this outfit haha ;) Oh you should just buy one Elise, it comes with a fluffy bunny tail :D Aw it's a shame you didn't like Crazy, Stupid Love. It was quite an awkward film though, and kind of slow in places! I seriously want to see Drive, maybe next week when my finances balance out :P x

    Charlene: Aw thanks Charlene! The phone case is so cute, isn't it? Had a crazy amount of compliments on it at Uni (: Mm I'm not much of a rom-com gal either, and am dying to see Drive instead! Might cave and go this weekend if I can find a willing volunteer (my friends aren't huge on the cinema!) x

    Farrah: Thank you (: I believe New Look and Primark have similar jumpers in at the moment. Wow, five days?! That's crazy! x

    Steph: Thanks lovely! I'd def recommend having a watch for something different to the regular rom-com! (Hate that abbreviation, haha). x

    Marta: Thank you!

    Samantha Grace: Aw thank you, it is SO soft and cosy! Four-day weekends are bloody perfect haha, I had the longest lie-in today without feeling guilty at all ;) Hope Uni is going well for you Samantha (: x

    Hannah: That's pretty much what happened haha! I'm the shyest person ever "in real life" so it was a lovely cringe moment for me ;) I really liked it too, can't wait to see Drive! x

  17. So glad you're enjoying your final year so far. Being generally happy, well and more relaxed in the rest of your life really does make the uni bit so much easier, trust me!

    You look lovely as ever and sounds like a stellar weekend you have planned there. Mine consists of getting up late tomorrow, trying to get a run in, studying like a madwoman foy my professional boards exam, watching X Factor, studying some more, and finding something yummy (preferably oriental) for dinner. Have a good one you.
