Currently laying in bed, reminiscing with some old school Jay Chou albums and waiting for my Awakening Potion to complete its' brew on Pottermore. Today has been a chilled day, full of laughs and singalongs with my Dad, and a generic reclining in comfy corners kind of afternoon. I'm taking it as a calm-before-the-storm kind of moment, as my London Fashion Week plans are shaping up to be a crazy flurry already!

(Jumper, c/o Boohoo;
Black top - underneath, Uniqlo;
Shorts, George at Asda;
Brogues, Primark;
Ampersand necklace, c/o Maria Allen Jewellery;
Fleur de Lis necklace, c/o Sunken Rose.)

Yesterday I awoke to a sizeable parcel at my bedroom door, kindly collected and re-delivered to me by my little sister. About a month ago, I was invited to the Boohoo A/W press day, but sadly couldn't make it, and the super kind people over at Boohoo offered me some store credit to sample their collection first-hand for myself. Really pleased with both of the pieces I chose: the Hollie fisherman knit jumper is probably going to be my new overworn piece, and I also chose a roll-up sleeve, open back shirt, which needs a bit of a steam, so I shall share that with you when I get round to that...! Decided to wear my favourite little wooden Ampersand necklace, after seeing Lily wear hers yesterday! It is, hands down, one of my top five favourite necklaces, if not the top. I really have a thing for longer chain pieces.

Been trawling through the coverage of NYFW on my breaks from work, the stand-out collections for me this season come from Jill Stuart, Band of Outsiders, Marc Jacobs (of course) and The Row. Really into the simplicity that always comes with S/S collections, the almost-neon pops of colour, and especially the ethereal fits of The Row collection. Oh how I'd love to be a New Yorker...

Anyway, I'm off to tidy the house for my Mama's imminent return from Hong Kong, attempt my own Topshop x WAH Nails Dalmatian nail art, and continue my search for the perfect berry-coloured straight-leg or skinny jean - anyone care to enable me? xo

  15. That jumper looks so cosy, I love it. The shirt you chose sounds lovely too.
    Please do let me know if you have any luck in the jeans department. I've been searching for a burgundy pair of skinny jeans for ages now but none seem to be quite right. I ordered the Miss Selfridge pair but the fit of them was horrible, I was rather disappointed! x

    I bought some berry coloured jeans in river island the other day - although they aren't either straight or skinny! But they're too long for me, so I roll them up and then they look straight..if you get me? They were £25 in the sale!

  39. I love the colour in these photos, look at that gorgeous blue sky! That's really kind of Boohoo, I'm glad you found some nice things, I always end up returning half of what I order from Boohoo, I find the quality and the sizing really varies so you never know quite what to expect! Having said that I bought a padded jacket from there recently and I just love it.
