Met up with Niran from Yin & Yang first thing on Friday for breakfast, which turned into just a coffee due to crazy schedules, and my inability to eat anything that isn't chocolate in the mornings. It was good to finally meet him after months of Tweets and emails, and even an interview behind the screen. We discussed a lot to do with the industry, making me feel like even more of an amateur, but mostly gossiped about the Gossip Girl cast. He shot some outfit photographs for me too, felt a little famous being papped in Carnaby Street!
My dress is something that my Mama picked up for me in Hong Kong last week. She came back on Wednesday morning at about 6am (my sleepy self was not impressed by that wake up call. On its' own, it is a little cape like, but cinched in with a strip of faux leather, it is super flattering and swishy. I love the tiny brass/rose gold imitation button detailing, and it's a shame we didn't manage to take any photos sans cardigan. I can imagine it looking super sweet with some dove grey, faux fur and sheer, lightly patterned tights.
I'm currently writing up a post about the IFB event, and about the blogger bits of my Friday, which is turning out to be very text-heavy, as I hardly managed to take any photos! I'm also going to pop a BB cream review and info post on Fashion-Tinted Glasses, which is my side blog for Uni. Planning to make full use of my afternoon before work to eat Cadbury's Mini Rolls, read One Day (obviously not all in one sitting, even I can't manage that!) and watch some old school Laguna Beach. Team Lauren-and-Stephen! ♥
