Went to the Krystof Strozyna S/S12 catwalk show on Friday after a panicked rush to get there following the IFB & Swarovski talk and event. Honestly, I will eventually learn to just hail a taxi from venue to venue next time, instead of assuming I'm some sort of Wonder Woman. Thank God, Fashion World works about half an hour behind the rest of the World, eh?!

The collection is my idea of perfect for a relaxed yet tailored season. Stroznya's third collection to be shown at London Fashion Week is full of striking cuts, geometrical lines and pops of colours (hate that term, but it is a perfect description in this scenario) amidst a sand/seashell nude. Particularly enjoyed buttery soft silk blazers, the soft colour block styling at the show, and the luxe fabrics and textures that deem the S/S12 collection perfect all day around, lounging on a cruise liner with similar coloured cocktails. Absolutely loved the hair styling too, wispy, coiffed with the softest curls at the ends, and swept away from the face for a very youthful feel.

Thank you to Lottie at Goodley PR for inviting me to the catwalk show, and to Lucy for helping me to feel not-like-an-outsider for the most part of the day!

And a NTS: must purchase a new lens for next season's photographs!

  6. That sounds like so much fun! Didn't notice the strange head adornment (pigeon) until Lyzi mentioned it, and yes, Dollyfaces is right, it does look a lot like Amber from Made in Chelsea on the left in the fourth picture down!
