what i wore
adjective:Having an impromptu day off from the world today. I usually work on a Wednesday but apparently not today for an unexplained reason. Not that I'm complaining, I've had a productive day off running errands in town, spending money on things to further my fangirl life and shooting today's outfit with my neighbours' kitty.
1. tinged with rose; rosy: a roseate dawn.
2. bright or promising: a roseate future.
3. incautiously optimistic: a roseate forecast for holiday sales.

When I bought these shorts from Forever 21, I immediately paired them with this shirt in my head; two of my favourite pieces in the same outfit makes this my new go-to! It felt a little dressy in the town centre if I'm honest, but I like it. My beautiful ASOS boots arrived this morning, was a pleasant surprise to see my brother haul the huge box up into my bedroom, I hadn't ordered from ASOS in a few months and had my reservations about their delivery service. I really do adore these boots, I might finally stop banging on about them now that I have them, but probably not, you know me and my obsessive personality!
My jewellery tastes have done a 180° recently, I've gone from the fun, cutesy and slightly eclectic pieces to a more simplistic version of before. I'm going to hold a blog sale or put some things on eBay very soon (read: when I can be bothered to take photos and slowly chip away at my soul) and a lot of my worn-once or old jewellery will be in there. However, when Farah contacted me about a week or so ago, I jumped at the chance to review a piece from her line. I chose the Naya bracelet, which features a gorgeous jet black genuine Swarovski crystal on a delicate brass link chain. I haven't stopped wearing it since I received it last week, and it'll look lovely with other delicate chain bracelets layered with it.
Don't forget to go and vote here for my Clippy bag entry (even if the photo is kind of wrong on my entry) so I can have a chance of providing a 30% discount for Daisybutter readers! I think I'm going to spend my evening replying to emails, reading my HP: Film Wizardry book, nursing my upset/weak stomach and drinking ice tea. ♥
