Today has been "one of those days". Last night, I worked my first ever catered event with our restaurant, on a boat party on the Thames in London, which was quite an experience. It was tiring, rewarding, a laugh a minute, and something really lovely to be part of. I didn't get home until gone 3am, but that's a story for another day, and then I was whizzed back to work for a regular shift at 10am this morning! Needless to say, I am exhausted and happy to be sat exploring Pottermore (!!!) while browsing the goodies of some of my favourite brands. Also, thank you for the feedback on my Clippy bag, you can now vote for your favourite on their Facebook page: the winning bag/blogger wins a discount for their readers and all voters are in to win their own Clippy bag to customise!

... Things I would happily buy instead of paying rent tomorrow. Really coveting a sheer black or navy double-breasted shirt at the moment, to wear with charcoal grey or warm pink toned ankle grazing jeans (yep, you heard me correctly!). The jeans I'm imagining haven't quite made the High Street yet, but I'm sure I'll keep you all updated with my search! I think the above would be so sweet with the ruby owl necklace, and some faux fur around the neck, and then some tattered brogues or these ASOS boots I ordered.

I'm imagining this open stitch jumper with all manner of things (ahem, my attempts to justify wanting to buy such an expensive piece!): a little black dress and thick cable knit tights, with the jumper hanging off a shoulder, a burgundy vest top and very blue jeans, leggings and a simple black tee. All these possibilities! Would also look sweet with a patterned bra, and tucked into the faux leather pocketed skirt, but I doubt the weather would allow this to happen at the moment.

My old navy Topshop moccassins have unfortunately had their time now, two and a half years later, I think I'm ready to let go of them and swap them for this pair of snakeskin trim loafers from Topshop again. I haven't seen these in-store yet, so might have a look for them in London on Thursday with my shoe-hunting pal, Emma. Also going to look for these skirts in Monki, which opens on Thursday, I'm planning on going with Emma, Lily, Emma, Victoria and Kate; Selfridges won't know what's hit 'em!

Finally, some extras that aren't relevant but I've wanted for ages. I really really want this Orla Kiely notebook, but will probably go for a cheapy and doodle my own multi-stem print on during lectures. Those bad boys are the most productive hours ever... I've also been looking around for a new fragrance for the autumn, something warm and musky. True to my fangirl self, I'm probably going to buy Wonderstruck ("floral with sparkling fruity tones on a wooden background") and ask for Love Chloe for a Christmas gift.
