A few weeks ago, Connie contacted me about an accessories brand based in London: Clippy. Firstly, it was really lovely to hear from a PR representative who genuinely enjoyed and had read my blog, I love being able to speak to PR people from both a personal and professional level. The first bag was created by Calypso Rose a few years ago, and after being stopped by various people on the street, enquiring after her bag, she decided to produce a few hundred more, and begin business on Portobello Road. I then browsed the Clippy website and was very taken by the huge range of products available, and especially so by the idea of adding your own touch to each piece.
By far, the best thing about my new bag is the ease of which I can change the style of it. One side is quite muted in colour and style, and the other features some vibrant colours and designs, meaning I can pop it on with any outfit! I really like the size too, not too large and not too small, it'll fit all of the things I like to hoist around with me on a day-to-day basis, and will be perfect for my final year library trips at University.
Clippy are running a competition where readers can vote for their favourite customised-by-a-blogger Clippy bag, over at their Facebook page. The winning blogger will receive prizes to giveaway to their readers, i.e. you! Don't forget to head over and 'like' their page, and I'll give you all a heads up as to when you can begin voting!

Love the idea of a clippy tote! I'm definitley going to get one, considering the masses of ELLE magazines I have stacked in my room! Enjoy your weekend!

wow, such a versatile bag, its perfect!
ReplyDeleteSaw a similar blogger with this clippy big but hers was bigger portrait-wise. Such a cute idea, I love that you have the option to change the images if you get bored of them too!

ReplyDeleteShope: Aw I'm so glad you liked this post, they have so many different designs too! Really good for putting those magazines to use, although I wept a little when I cut up my August Vogue for my new bag! Have a lovely weekend (:
ReplyDeleteKrissy: I really like mine! Going to be using mine alongside my Alexa haha!
Louise: Bee posted about hers yesterday, and her one has three extra pockets on each side (: I already have lots of portrait-length bags, so opted for this! Me too, such a great concept, makes it perfect to customise to any outfit or mood!
Sophie: I believe it can! I have a large hardback book, a few A4 sheets of paper (my Uni registration details!) and my keys in there at the moment!
Such a great bag, might consider getting one. It's fabulous how you can personalise it to easily.

ReplyDeleteI love your bag! This is such a great way of blogger promotion because everyone's bags are so different and personal, so it doesn't get boring seeing posts about the same thing. Genius. Yours is gorgeous, it is so you, I love all the fashiony accents, the Marc Jacobs and the Vogue (especially love how Vogue has gone across two panels). Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of this! Seriously considering a purchase... but torn between this size and the bigger one with more pockets - thinking it would be a good bag for uni to cart my books etc. in! Which one to go for??? x
ReplyDeleteThat is such a neat idea! :) I think if I were to get one, I'd out my favourite photographs in the pockets.
