a (mixed up) week in photos, but mostly london3.7.11
I haven't been awake this early on a Sunday morning in forever. Usually a 9am wake-up call (or earlier) marks an early morning drive to the airport for two weeks of exotic sunshine, cuisine and surroundings, but alas, not today. Thought I'd put my photo post together for you, apologies as the most part of the photos are from yesterday! Alana and I had an eventful day in London, it was hot, random, unplanned and a day of many laughs. I'm about to pop to work after this, but just wanted to check in with you all, has anyone done anything spectacular this weekend? Also, everyone should pop to Vivatramp today and comment or Tweet Bee something sweet for her birthday!
A roast chicken dinner early on in the week • Homemade chicken korma and our own (surprisingly amazing) naan bread - hi calories! • Blogging tools of the trade • Replaced my long-missing Philosopher's Stone book, and bought a new book for dissertation reading • Posted a pattern clash outfit featuring my beautiful Ampersand necklace from Maria Allen • After a kind of awful fortnight, the family and I flew a huge Chinese lantern with our hopes and 'wishes' on • Had a day of food, reading and watching 'Drunken to Love You' on Friday • It was London Pride on Saturday... and we forgot... It was very awkward and a lot of fun! • Some touristy snaps • We became 5 year-olds and visited the new M&M's World • Took some outfit photos on the M&M's bus, no biggie, I think we annoyed many children in there • More outfit snaps in Covent Garden! • We picked up freebie postcards in Mulberry • Bought a 'Paris' top in the UO sale, and my paper lampshade, and Alana got me an I Heart LA top from her internship travels!
