And to think I almost had an outfit post-less week on here...! I've quite enjoyed taking some time away from snapping photos of myself, I usually feel so awkward and poser-irific when I take my outfit photos, and the camera I'm using at the moment means the process takes twice as long as usual. I've had a think, a budgeting session and a sit down though, and if my shifts don't change, I should be able to buy my new camera in 4-5 weeks time! Squee!

(Black flounce layer top, Primark;
Denim cut-off shorts, George at Asda and cut up with handy kitchen scissors!
Crochet kimono, Topshop;
Polka dot sheer tights, Primark;
Necklace, Vintage;
Rings, H&M and Blablabla.)

Nothing spectacular to show again, I can't get enough of this crochet cardigan/jacket, if you hadn't already guessed. I feel so Rumi Neely/fashiontoast when I wear it! It adds a beautiful, laidback, Summery, bohemian feel to any outfit, which I surprisingly really like at the moment. I spied this flounce layered top in my wardrobe this morning and really wanted to wear it! I think it'd look lovely with some camel/rust colour jeans or tapered trousers, but I still haven't got round to buying any. I threw on this extremely long pearl chain necklace to break up the black in my outfit, and I think it works well with the long line of the front of my cardigan?

My Mama and I are currently in the process of redesigning our living room (and dining room, hallways, etc.). It's been a long time coming, and seeing as in September, my brother will also be off to University, it makes sense to start revamping everything so she can have pals round, and we can enjoy a new scene when we come home for weekends. I've been buying interior magazines by the bucketload, and can't stop adding to my list of things to look into for my bedroom hahaha. It's all so exciting!

In other news, this week I finally paid off the deposit for my new house-share! If you didn't already know, I am moving into a little house with one of my best friends, and another friend from Uni in September. I'm excited for constant girly kickbacks, laughs and cooking/baking experiments! Aaand it means another room to start decorating, which I have already started work on!

  8. Great outfit as usual, Michelle! I really love your necklace, it goes wonderfully with your crochet cardigan.
    And hooray for new camera plans! I need to update mine, actually, since Richard and I both want something that can take videos as well. Which one are you looking into?

  12. The Kimono is beautiful! Suits you greatly. I'm going to decorate my bedroom soon, I've already bought the wardrobe haha! There's so much to do but I've been constantly on ebay for little gems, seriously its brilliant for some cheap 'shabby chic' buys! It's such a refreshing feeling to start new. Hope you enjoy your time designing :) and it's a dream of mine to move in with my friend but it kind of seems so 'out there' - not knowing how we will get new jobs etc... but I really do want it to happen! xx

  14. Thank you so much for your comments lovely ladies <3

    Michelle: I'm currently looking into the Nikon D3000 (: I think it'll be a good fit and a nice DSLR for me to start with! How about you lovely? xo

    Katie: I have a built-in wardrobe so I'm limited in how my room can be laid out hahaha! Ooh yes, eBay and carboot sales are amazing for shabby chic pieces! I'm trying to move away from shabby chic atm, so wary of the fact that I'll be likely to move back home after I graduate that I want to add a bit of a grown-up edge to it! xx

  15. Loving the rings and necklace, and so jealous that you can wear tiered tops like that one- in my mother's words I've just got too much tits and arse for them.

    Exciting camera news and how exciting for the house share. I should hopefully be able to look for a flat share, depending on the outcome of some job type things next week. So exciting!

I wear mine with everything, a loose-fit top and leggings is great underneath, so simple too (: Or a not-too-patterned sundress and sandals? xo
