Surprised to see me wearing a pair of jeans? ;) Me too. I wore this on Saturday, on an emergency chocolate run with my sister, and it probably took me all of three minutes to put together. I think last-minute outfits are my favourites: throwing on a few pieces randomly from my wardrobe and finding that they unexpectedly work well together is such a good feeling.

By popular demand from Sunday's Week in Photos post, I recreated my jeans and blazer look for today's post. I rarely wear jeans, but when I do, I love to layer up on my top half to balance out my body. I'm yet to find a pair of non ill-fitting jeans, these fit so strangely and awkwardly on my calves! I know, I know, the peeptoe wedges are a bit too summery for April, and they don't match any part of my outfit, but they're so cute. I bought them last year in the UO sale, for under £10 - result! I featured a photo of this circle scarf a few months ago, but forgot to snap photos of it on: it's actually my Mum's, but I keep borrowing it, and it has a permanent residency in my wardrobe!

Today is my first full day off from work since last Thursday. It's been so busy recently, what with Mother's Day and the post-payday weekend! My Mumma loved her surprise flowers and cupcakes, although I'm going to take her for afternoon tea on her day off this Thursday. Needless to say, I am suitably exhausted and ready to sleep forever and ever. Alas, I'm spending my day watching Harry Potter (to unwind!) and writing an interiors feature as the final piece in my Magazines and Markets portfolio for Uni. I can't believe I've already been home for over a week, Uni almost feels like a distant memory to me haha! I totally don't want to go back for those final few weeks.

A few lovely ladies to follow: Alex, Guilt Free Fashion, Popsy, Lucy and this week's featured sidebar blog (:

PS. My camera has finally packed up and given in, so I'm using my brother's video camera to snap photos, which is such a hassle! I'm not sure when I'll be able to buy a new camera, and I'm trying to think of ways to continue outfit posts and taking photos in general. :/

  9. I don't wear jeans much because i don't own a pair that fits properly! So annoying, they're always too big around the waistband because i'm pear shaped.

Like the bag thats hanging off the side!
