Today I had planned on snapping a whole host of photos of my outfit, my day and places-I-frequent-while-at-home to feature on the blog, but it was swelteringly hot today, and my attention span waivered around the point of non-existence. It's definitely something I want to do in the Summer though, trust me to have planned such a post for my last proper day at home. I think I'm going back down South tomorrow, but I'm not entirely sure yet.

(Top, New Look; Ring, Miss Selfridge.)

I can't decide if this counts as an outfit post? It's better than nothing I suppose! My sister very kindly snapped this slightly unflattering photo of me today when we went for a frescato/iced caramel latte break. Check out my hair too, was so happy with how it curled this morning! It kind of shows my new knotted, tribal print vest though, which is the main point. I bought this on Tuesday from New Look, purely on account of the fact they have a 20% student discount offer on at the moment! It cost me about £5 and is perfect to throw on with denim cut-offs and sandals. Which, by the way, is what I wore with mine.

I ended up buying the hand crochet kimono from Topshop this afternoon too, after much dithering and hesitation. I posted about it yesterday, and the votes seemed pretty split between this and the Chloe drape dress from Yayer, which isn't available in my size at the moment anyway! I'm absolutely in love with it: I feel so Rumi Neely in it! Thanks student discount for helping to ease the guilt ;)

I'll be back early tomorrow with the usual Week in Photos for you (hopefully!) Hope you're all enjoying the Easter weekend and spending it with loved ones and chocolate!

  1. I cannot believe it was hotter in England than it was here, on the French Riviera! This is not normal, just saying. Still, that sounds like my kind of day. ; )

  20. I cannot believe how amazing warm it is right now! I was literally melting whilst sat outside getting some very fashionable short tan lines :P
I saw the kimono today, it looks so cute :) Good luck with the trip back down south, are you going by train? Won't it take a ridiculous amount of time on a sunday/easter monday? Yikes.

Glad you're having nice weather up in England! It's slowly but surely getting colder here, but I'm more of a cold-weather person so I don't mind that much!

  27. The tribal print vest seems like a complete bargain, I'm liking the price of it. Also, I'm definitely a big fan of tribal prints this season, they're so cheerful.

My sister always orders caramel lattes... with extra sugar! They are so nice (: Aw thank you so much Ann, hope you're well lovely! xx

I can imagine! They're very "festival chic" even though I a) hate that phrase and b) have never been to a music festival before ;) Thanks Georgie, my Mama gave me a lift back in the end, the train would have taken over 5 hours! xo

I know right! I've been melting but no tan lines for me sadly ): Its so nice, I'm totally wearing it to Uni tomorrow! Yeah it would have taken aaaages, my Mama took the evening off work and drove me back in the end, bit of quality mother-daughter car kareoke time hahaha! Thanks for the lovely comment Laura! xx

    N'awh, thanks Steffani!
