Onto this week's Ways to Wear then. I'm really glad that these have received such amazing feedback - even though Frugal Feb is now over, I'm going to continue with these, mixed in with the odd Wednesday Wants once in a while. If you want to request a certain item to be featured, or have any suggestions, please email or Formspring me, I really want these features to be a little more reader-centred!
This week's item is a slouchy, wide knit jumper/jumper dress. The one I've featured in my looks is the Knitted Cream Slubby Swing Dress from Topshop, but I've seen similar and more affordable versions in New Look, Primark and F+F at Tesco. I'm quite certain that a lot of you will still have a cable knit jumper or jumper dress in your wardrobes from the winter! I'd also like to point out that either a standard length jumper or oversized dress version will both work in this week's installment.

Look One is a laidback yet refined look in my opinion, the jumper or jumper dress can be tucked in to these trousers and left slightly loose, if that makes any sense. The tapered trouser look is still very much "in", and I've noticed almost every store on the High Street jump on the bandwagon with these trousers that have been seen in the likes of Burberry Prorsum, Jaeger and Alexander Wang's collections for a few consecutive seasons. I picked these brick and papaya coloured versions as a nod to the Spring/Summer '11 colours! In particular, H&M, New Look and Toppers all have excellent ranges with varying lengths and colours. I couldn't resist adding this adorable telescope necklace from Wallpaper Rose in to the mix, the brass tones work perfectly on the warm palette of colours and the telescope is also fully functioning! Finally, I finished the look off with these beautiful lace-up wedges from Dixi, which aren't exactly functional, but they'd be perfect against a pair of tapered trousers!

Being at the Look Show really inspired me to create looks inspired by the 70's. Personally, the 70's don't appeal to me, but after having a read about it all for my Uni project, and constantly thinking of W2W ideas, I thought I'd put together a 70's Flair look which is relatively wearable for all. The zany print of these culotte shorts is so sweet and fun, and not too in-your-face as some 70's flared trousers seem to be at the moment! Again I would tuck the jumper in for an understated chic look. This necklace from Diva at Miss Selfridge is really unique and fun, totally fitting in with the 70's vibe, Miss Selfridge almost always run great deals on their website, so I'd totally recommend checking that out before you go in-store.

My final look is one that can be dressed up or down, depending on your personal style. I'd quite happily pair some black tights and killer heels with this on a night out, or wear with tan brogues in the day. Cable knit or wide knit jumpers generally mean you can see the skin underneath the jumper. To combat this, simply pop a pretty patterned vest underneath, so you can see a hint of both the pattern and texture of the jumper, and pop a bright bodycon skirt on to make it all pop a la Marc Jacobs and Burberry! These bodycon skirts cost just £3.99 from H&M, which are bargainous. I often find they stretch, a problem which can be easily fixed by wearing it when wet to shape to your body, although at such a low price, you can easily buy another. They come in a variety of colours, including taupe and navy, in case you're not a lover of pink!
The last look features a necklace and ring from Stolen Thunder boutique, which I came across recently. Stolen Thunder is full of handmade accessories, which are so cute! I know I need the Russian Doll necklace and a few of their rings in my jewellery box immediately (: For 15% off your order, just enter DAISY at checkout and the discount will be applied for you.
Hope you enjoyed this week's installment of Ways to Wear (: Don't forget to send me some requests if you have any! Also, my giveaway is still open and runs until Monday, head over to my post from Sunday to be in with a chance of winning a gorgeous little floral playsuit.
