HAI LOVELIES! Feels like an age since I posted an outfit post on here. I believe it has been an entire week since my last outfit post, which is crazy, I usually like to post three or four outfits each week! I feel ever so slightly out of the loop but have been trying to catch up on all of your blogs. I just felt like taking a short break from blogging etc., Uni started again this week, and one of my friends came to visit me in Southampton this week anyway, so it wound up being the perfect timing!

(Blouse, New Look;
Skirt, H&M;
Necklace, Accessorize;
Tights, Primark.)

As I mentioned earlier in the week, I bought the sheer blouse from New Look last weekend. I'd seen it, tried it on, been back, tried it on again... I think I can safely say that it was one of those "fell in love" pieces! I had to size up a bit on this though, it was a little tight on the shoulders, and didn't quite cover my derriere, which are both qualities I wanted in a sheer blouse this season for its' versatibility. Also, it came to £17.50 with the current 20% student discount - bargain! Paired the blouse with a bodycon skirt - I need to replace this one, don't you hate it when they get all stretched out?! - and sheer polka dot tights today. I like continuing the 'sheer' quality of this outfit, and think it'll look even better when the weather picks up. Of course a British "fashion blog" couldn't include a post that didn't mention the weather ;) I quite fancy teaming the blouse with a pair of distressed denim cut-offs and Ambrose boots in the spring too.

So, this week saw Semester 2 of Uni start up again. It wasn't much of a busy or hard week, most of our lecturers & seminars were just a run-through of what we're covering over the semester. Blah. I'm already getting stressed just thinking about the workload! Goodbye social life! Really excited to get to grips with writing weekly features for my Mags and Marketing unit, and weekly styling assignments for my Fashion and Styling portfolio though, most of the semester sounds interesting, but there's a LOT of it.

I bought a tripod at long last, and it feels good to have more options of where I can take photos! I broke my last tripod, and its been ages since I used one for outfit photos. Hopefully when I'm home and in my new house, I'll be able to "experiment" with outside shots too! I always prefer natural light over natural-light-in-a-room-that's-shadowed. Also, sincere apologies and all for the AWFUL quality of the photos today, I'm on the verge of throwing it out of my 12th floor window. Finally, I reached over 1000 collective followers on my blog and 100,000 page views this week on the blog: Thank you girls (and guys!) for all of the overwhelming support, got lots of love for you!

PS. Currently listening to Joshua Radin - Streetlight on repeat. Beautiful, beautiful song.

    Courtney: Thank you! Haha ;) Most high street stores have those shirts that are short at the front and dropped at the back?! They look so weird in my opinion! Oh I need to get one asap, mine is so stretched, not my size at all now! Thank you so much Courtney <3

  23. Yup we def made the right choice in buying a larger size. Size 8 was tight on my arms and I have skinny arms! I think they are sold out in town now since it`s so popular so we were lucky last week. Hope you are having a good weekend! Oh if you need me to pick anything up in HK just drop me a text or something. x

    Lily: N'awh thanks sweet (: I wore it tucked into high waisted shorts earlier in the week actually! I have a hundred ideas of how it could be styled different as well! Oh yes definitely, next step is permanently borrowing Mama's camera as mine is almost completely dead now! xx

    Sarah: Thank you! Mm me too, I'm usually not a NL kinda gal, but some of their pieces have been quite nice and not too cheapy looking, which I tend to find a lot in there! xx
