I'm having such a fail day today! As it has been Graduation Week at my University this week, we were given both of our Fashion and Styling lectures and seminars off, meaning I've had a day off today. I completely intended to spend it working on my feature, writing my Globalisation of Fashion essay and adding to my visual research portfolio for Photography. And predictably, I managed a mere 5 pages of notes for my globalisation essay before I copped out and devoured a nice big lunch, consisting of a toastie, yoghurt and plums. Oh, woe is me.

I've got a driving lesson later today. I'm starting to regret not booking lessons for as soon as I moved back to Southampton. As a result, I haven't driven in a month, and I'm weirdly nervous to get back behind the wheel. I'm sure I'm just being typical me and over-worrying about nothing!

(Shirt, Originally from TU at Sainsbury's, customised by me here;
Skirt, H&M;
Cardigan, Topshop;
Belt, Primark;
Grey polka dot tights, Primark;
"Diamond" ring, Anabella's Jewellery;
Swan ring, Topshop.)

Today I'm wearing a complete mish-mash of an outfit, and I'm not entirely sure if it works, but I still liked it! My top was a DIY jobby (you can find my tutorial for it here), I picked it out because I'm still really into khaki green at the moment, and my favourite khaki top is in the laundry basket at the moment. Paired it with a patterned bodycon skirt from H&M, this is where I'm not sure if the whole ensemble works! On one hand, I really like the clashing patterns and subtle colour pairing, but on the other, it looks like I've grabbed anything and slung it on! I'm also wearing grey polka dot tights, and my trusty long cardigan from Topshop.

Jewellery wise, I'm blinging myself out with this huge "diamond" ;) I was given this a few years ago, when I worked at my Mumma's friend's jewellery store in town. I'd never really wear something like this, but once in a while, I put it on to completely jazz up an outfit and add some sparkle to my life! Also rediscovered my love for Model's Own Slate Green nail varnish this week, if you haven't already tried this, I seriously recommend it! Great consistency and colour, but it does need two or three coats to achieve an opaque colour like mine.

I think that's enough of my ramblings for today. I'm going to fret over my driving lesson some more and listen to the rest of Cheryl Cole's album (not amazing, I'll admit!). Thank you for all the comments and blog views this week, reached an all-time high on my outfit post from Wednesday Happy Friday!
