Granted, my giveaway lacks MAC and whatever else other people are giving away, but again, I wanted the prizes to represent my blog and my personal interests, and I don't use many MAC products at all. I also wanted a Christmassy touch, as I love the Christmas season (yup, no longer called Winter!). Up for grabs are:
- Handmade pearl bracelet, lovingly made by me!
- LUSH Christmas Eve bubble bar
- Eyeko Nail Polishes in Nude, Rain and Chi Chi
- Topshop Lipstick in Vintage (I have one of these lipsticks, and the colour is SO gorgeous, perfecto for any upcoming parties and nights out girls!)
- A Christmas choccy lollipop!
- A custom-designed blog header of your choice (thought this would be a little bit different as I've had quite a few header design requests recently!)
- Be a follower of my blog via Blogger/GFC/Bloglovin'.
- Comment below and say 'Enter me!' and tell me what reminds you of Christmas, it can be a memory, scent, taste, etc.!
- For an extra entry, Tweet about the giveaway: "@winyeemichelle is having a Christmassy giveaway at http://bit.ly/9HG5Fi!"
- Leave a seperate comment for each entry please! This will make it easier for when I pick the winner.
- Also, leave your email in one of the comments so I can get in touch with you if you win!
- This giveaway is open internationally.
- I will be picking the winner using Random.org on the 3rd December!

I love doing Secret Santa with my friends no matter how old we are, I know it's not about gifts but I genuinely think the funnest part is not knowing who you will pick out of the box of names and suddenly knowing who you're wishing to get! Also, Christmas is the one day where it's totally acceptable going up to strangers and wishing them Merry Christmas because it's a very happy thing to say, really, and you could make someone's day... or part of it! :)

Since moving down south last year where it doesn't actually snow like it does up north to let you know it's *that* time of year I've started looking for other signs. When the weather gets cold enough for warm snuggly jumpers and thick cosy tights. When the weather stays dark, rainy and gloomy for more than 3 days in a row. When mince pies start calling my name and christmas dinner sandwichs start sneaking into my lunches instead of chicken noddles :)

ReplyDeleteThe one thing that reminds me of Xmas is when we were little my dad would bring down an old biscuit box out of the loft in the morning... then we knew that after school the tree would be ready to be up. We would always be sooo excited. Also the return of the german Xmas market conjures up all the those lovely smells that give you that Xmas feeling.

ReplyDeleteWhat isn't there to adore about Christmas?! Definitely my favourite time of year (as it is my birthday in December too!) I love going to town to watch the christmas lights being turned on, it just looks so magical and it's the perfect reason to wear your warmest fur coats and wrap your fingers up in gloves and mittens. Sitting in a cosy corner of a coffee shop watching the world go by before setting off into the chilly weather once more! But, overall my favourite part of Christmas are the smells, the smell of cold, frosty mornings and the smell of baking that encircles my grandmothers kitchen..pure bliss! xo

ReplyDeleteHmmm what reminds me of Christmas..? Well all this snow is totally getting me in the Christmas spirit so I think that counts! The houses round here are all red brick, and the roofs are all covered in snow - they totally look like Gingerbread houses! Which is another reason the snow reminds me of xmas :)
