Is it just me or are the weeks just speeding past at the speed of light at the moment?! Onto another wishlist which will no doubt prey on my mind until I can bear it no longer. This week's Wants are focused on the 'colour of the season' - camel. I've been a bit unsure about this colour, even when Vogue and Elle kept featuring it on every other page, but now that I've taken some time to gather my thoughts and have a good browse at everything camel offered to me, I am ever so slightly swayed!

I really like the idea of longer shorts, worn at the waist with a patterned top. I've gone back to my Topshop obsession as of late, their AW collection is seriously good! Sorry bank balance, I will persevere with my hundreds of job applications! I also really like this nail varnish colour in 'Geography Teacher'. I actually picked this up at the student thing yesterday and will try it at some point over the weekend ;)

ASOS have got really good again recently. For a really long time, I stopped browsing and shopping on there as I simply couldn't afford it and I felt it was all a little overpriced. However, the styling with these outfits is amazing, and has drawn me back in. I want this chunky, slouchy cardigan so much! That entire outfit looks so lovely!

I am completely lacking in motivation to do any Uni work today. I've been in lectures all morning, but didn't do any work last night, so I feel guilty for not doing any now. Gonna get my feature introduction completed, start building up my j-Log and plan my feature pitch! Tonight I am off to a Cheerleaders' Themed Fundraiser with my housemates! Should be a fun night, I shall be snapping away no doubt ;) Hope you all have lovely Wednesday evenings!

EDIT:// In amidst my procrastination from Uni work, I popped onto the Topshop website aaand came across this little beauty. It is the perfect toffee colour, and would look so gorgeous with so many different things. I think this may be a sneaky weekend purchase after my photoshoot with Dulce, as a reward to myself for doing work! How ironic!

  1. Have fun at the cheerleading shindig (: I've always been apprehensive about camel too because I'm not sure whether it works with my skin tone :/ That nail varnish looks lovely though - be sure to tell us what it's like! I share your job application pain sweet!

  2. I like camel, but haven't experimented with it yet. I think a camel cardigan would be the perfect accompaniment to my wardrobe, let it complement my current style rather than swamp it! I don't really like camel pants for some reason. Coats are cardis are where it's at.

  4. I spied the topshop jumper in store the other day and loved it. Good picking missus but you're not helping my 'have no money to spend' dilema! :P xx

  6. bee: thanks lovely! apparently there are deals on malibu, archers, and more mixers for £2, so i'm sure it will be a merry affair! i'm quite iffy about it, but my camel coloured shorts from zara got me a lotta compliments on a recent night out, so i'm more inclined to try now (: oh good luck to you with the job hunt lovely!

helen: i really want a camel cardigan, the asos one looks gorgeous paired with bottle green! you can't beat a good ol' comfy cardy in my opinion!

aimee: i've taken asos off my favourites bar purely because i keep absent-mindedly filling up my basket when i definitely can't afford it all on a student budget!

abby: i very almost bought it in topshop yesterday but they didn't have my size ): thanks sweety, aha we can suffer together, i can't afford anything either! stupid living costs and all that jazz, my food shop was so expensive this week!

irene: i was bored of seeing it in elle and vogue, and now i can't get enough of it, it's a really classic and grown-up colour! haha i'm sure we are, we have the exact same taste!

  21. i feel the same about ASOS - sometimes their quality and style just doesn't match the price tag. but their a/w collection - wow! x

  22. annabelle: i've not ordered from them in a while, so i'm curious to see what the quality is like now! i've heard lots of positive things recently though :)

  23. Great post lovely!
I wasn't too fond of camel when it first came about becuase of all the hype in the glossy mags etc. but it is really nice (as much as it pains me to admit it ;)
Now the urge is growing for me to go out and buy a camel coat, cardigan, jumper, shorts... gaaah I'm a hopeless shoppahlic! tehehe.

  24. spence: thanks sweet! i know what you mean though, seeing it in the big monthly glossies makes it feel inaccessible (c'mon, £3000 for a camel coat?!) but there are so many nice alternatives and interpretations now! xxxxxx
