Tunic, Topshop; Belt, Primark; Tights, Primark; Cable knit socks, H&M; Boots, River Island; Ring, Topshop.

Debuted my latest Topshop purchase today! I have a strange habit of either trying to save my new purchases for a good enough occasion, or wearing it all as soon as possible. Anyone else?! Speaking of new purchases, I'm trying to hold back on the spending; Uni books are costing me so much money at the moment!

I bought this early last week, and had planned to wear it to Eyeko but changed my mind in the end. I love the sweet little Peter Pan collar and puffy sleeves at the wrist! Originally, I thought this tunic would be too black without something to add interest (I'm hoping to DIY a patterned snood!) but I quite like the mod 60's feel to it all! Paired with some typical-me accessories of polka dot tights, tan belt and a statement ring!

I'm currently sat attempting to dissect more of this Magazine Production book... 'The Business of Magazines' anyone? Desperately trying to get my work and some features organised before the weekend so I can just relax! Having said that, I'm off to Nando's tonight for dinner, I haven't been in absolutely ages (i.e. a month!) so it shall be good to devour a chicken burger! Any plans for the pre-weekend?

  1. OMYGOD absolutely love the LBD. =) and the belt. I've seen so many belts online from primark atm and i havent had a chance to go primark. =(

also, is the ladder in your tights intentional? x

  2. You are pretty much the most adorable thing in the world. The ring is quite exciting the truth be told I'd prefer it in gold.
Nearly got the fright of my life at your picture, for a moment it looks like someone is lying in your bed. My wee heart. It went.

Weekend for me will be busy as usual.....however I do get to see puppies so safe to say I am thoroughly excited. x

  5. yin: thanks lovely! primark's belt range is surprisingly good! the quality isn't bad as well considering almost all of the belts cost about £1! haha no, i always manage to ladder my tights before i even step out of the door, its becoming somewhat of a trademark for me ):

beewaits: thank you! it used to be a lot more gold, but obviously being a high street piece, the colour is all worn off now! haha my mirror is just in an awkward position i think! awh puppies!!

gabrielle: thank you my sweet (: happy thursday to you too!

  20. Ah no! I actually went into topshop to get this but it didn't look right on the hanger so ended up getting a floral one instead. Totally wish I'd got this one too though!! And I have completely just convinced myself, so I'm skipping off to the website right now to purchase it. Would you say that it is pretty true to size? I'm a ten but don't want it too tight around my stomach? Or does it kind of skim over the stomach area?

gem: thanks lovely! wasn't sure at first because i never wear anything remotely high-collared! (:

victoria india: thanks sweet! aha it is so adorable, i bought it a while ago so your best bet will probably be ebay!

gina: thank you! i totally know the feeling, my blair waldorf dress from the gossip girl miss selfridge collection has only been worn twice for this reason!

steph: thank you my lovely ^___~

gaby: thanks sweety! i thought it was a nice way to buy into the animal ring trend but without the scary deer antlers haha!

rocio: thank you ^^ i wore it with khaki rolled down socks and shearling ankle boots when i went out!

    abbie: thank you hun!

irene: why thank ya ;) i have no choice but to rock laddered tights ): i always seem to snag them on bracelets or rings or some other mysterious laddering object!

    cowbiscuits: thanks sweety!

charlotte: great minds think alike and all that charlotte!

alison: definitely try it on! i did and fell in love with it, it's fitted around the boobage department and skims over the stomach, quite a nice not too heavy material so it sits well! mine is in a size 8 and fits me perfectly!

pinkyliciousvita: i think they're quite a reasonable price, really good quality and much cheaper in comparison to most shearling ankle boots out there right now!

    amy-leigh: thank youu honey! (:

victoria: i may get the green or burgundy on tuesday at the student shop thingy!

belle: i knoww you do, your gorgeous little tea dresses! *jealouss* thank you doll!

    jennie: thank you lovely!

rochelle: awh thank you! i like just picking a key piece and accessorising it as much as reasonably possible! (:
