Hola chicas! I've been requested a couple of times to write a step-by-step skincare routine post now, and I'm finally happy with my skincare routine after trying out various products over the year. I have Normal skin, whatever that is, but my skin tends to get quite dry in the Summer and feels tight and horrible if I don't moisturise and use certain products - annoying! I have a few different products that I switch between, but this is my main routine. Again, I'm not a beauty blogger/guru and I don't claim to be an expert on any of this, I just really love skincare haha!

#1: Eye Make-Up Remover
I never wore much make-up up until about a year or two ago. Even now, I'm happy to leave the house with no make-up at all! It is really important to use a seperate eye make-up remover, because the skin around your eye area is really sensitive, and you don't want to pull or tug the skin, which will damage it and/or cause premature aging. I really like Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make-Up Remover, which is cheap as chips! I dab a little amount on a cotton wool pad, and just sweep over my eyes. It leaves the eye area a bit oily I suppose, but you'll be washing the rest of your face after anyway.

#2: Laneige Multi-Cleanser/Lancome Foaming Gel Eclat
I really like gel consistency cleansers, and have been using gel based cleansers for about 4/5 years now. I just remember being told by a Lancome sales assistant when I was about 14, about their new teens range (now discontinued! Sob!) and them telling me that gel based was good for me haha. The Lancome Foaming cleanser seems like it is aimed at Oily/Combination skin, even though mine says Normal on the front. :/ It sometimes leaves my skin on the dry side, which I don't like at all, but is a good cleanser that I tend to use on holiday? I use this with The Body Shop facial brush as before.

Anyway! I use Laneige if my skin feels like it needs a 'deeper' clean, perhaps after a long day of work, or a day spent in the City. I use about a 10p size amount of cleanser & use The Body Shop facial brush to work it into a lather all over my skin, then rinse off with the facial brush. The Laneige Multi-Cleanser also has little exfoliating micro-beads in it, which are gentle enough for everyday use. *thumbs up*

#3: Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toner
I use toner right after cleansing my face. It refreshes my skin, and this smells SO good. Seriously haha, I love the smell of this! :) Toner removes all the last traces of cleanser and make-up that you might have missed. Again with this, I dab this on a cotton wool pad and sweep all over the face and neck.

#4: Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vital Moisturiser SPF30
This is my 'holy-grail' moisturiser. I have trouble looking for moisturisers, but my Mum took my over to a Lancome counter (again) and they thought this would suit me. The pump makes it easy to dispense the 'perfect amount' of moisturiser, which for me is one pump! I concentrate on my cheeks and forehead which seem to be drier than the rest of my skin in the summer.

#5: Lancome Hydra Zen Eye Gel
This post is making me look like a Lancome addict! This was on offer in conjunction with the above moisturiser, so I decided to get it too because I'd been looking for an eye cream for ages. I use a pump of this under and around each eye, and kind of massage it in with my middle and ring fingers. This honestly makes a huge difference with my under-eye dark circle situation, and I would really recommend it if you can handle parting ways with the money.

Hopefully this has helped some of you! I also use a facemask about two or three times a week if I have the time/effort. I don't go for facials or any professional beauty care. :)

Disclaimer: All products were bought by me with my own money, or by my parents as a gift. I am not affiliated with any of the companies, brands or products mentioned. I am not a skincare or beauty expert, so I would recommend you also read some reviews before you purchase, if you're worried about how it might affect your skin type etc.
