University & New Flat!
Less than a month (and counting!) until I move into the little flat with three friends from university! After being home for so long, I'm itching to get back on my own two feet and the whole 'living on my own' shebang. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love being at home with my family, and I do love them to death, but it's getting a tiny bit frustrating once again! I'm also excited for the pretty flat and getting to grips with redecorating my room - watch this space! ;)
Lily Lolo Mineral Finishing Powder
I've been in two minds about writing a full review for this, because I am no beauty guru, just a skincare obsessive and avid consumer! I've been using this for about two weeks now, and I love it. It sets make-up really well (no more black eyes and strange concealer smudges!) and doesn't look overly powdery or cakey either. My skin hasn't broken at all, which I find tends to happen when I use products that require coverage all over the face. The powder I used is Flawless Silk, and was £12. I have also trialled Lily Lolo's Flawless Matte powder, but don't quite know what I think of it yet.
Marks & Sparks' Black Forest Cookies
Oh myyy. These are absolutely heaven in a cookie! Definitely worth taking a break from dieting for! Being the cool person that I am, I've been raving about these to any of my friends that will listen. They're the new Jaffa Cakes in my life. Perfect with a coffee and a quiet evening of blog reading. :)
I came across this website a couple of weeks ago, and it has been a must-read of mine for a while now. For all the fellow aspiring writers out there, I really recommend visiting and reading through the articles on there, I've become addicted to reading the magazine online! There are interview opportunities, little tips & tricks and even some blogging advice.
Barry M's 'Blueberry' Nail Paint
My first ever blue nail varnish! This is completely different from any other nail varnish I've worn; it's such a bright blue colour. :) As with most Barry M nail paints, it goes on well, and you can get away with one coat, although I'd recommend two to reduce chipping. You can see my blueberry nails in this post!
I am absolutely loving Sofia's blog at the moment. If you haven't already read and followed this blog, I suggest you pop over and take a peek! She posts a whole range of lifestyle related entries, and there is always something to read. Sofia is so friendly and lovely too! Click here to read her blog, and here to follow her Twitter.
I'm 99.9% positive that I have many fellow university-students reading my blog. I found this through Style Sample, and basically is a website where you can create a free online portfolio to show-off your work! It has so many different options and designs, and is very aesthetically pleasing, for the design-happy people out there!
What has everyone been discovering this week? And, would you prefer it I reduced the amount of text in these posts? I'm so worried that I'm bombarding you with lots to read on a Friday!
